First, you’ll want to locate Sprint mode within Tetris Friends. One of the easiest ways to do this is to head to the website’s home page. Below the banner for the Battle 2P mode, you’ll see a “Games” section with arrow cursors to the left and right.
Click on the right arrow cursor and you’ll be able to spot the Sprint game mode. When it comes to mastering Sprint, the best way to set an attainable goal for yourself is to complete one practice round. This means you’ll need to load up Sprint, play to the best of your abilities, then receive your final timed score at the end.
For us, our first timed score was 1 minute and 16 seconds. With that number in mind, our subsequent games became organized attempts at improving that score. As such, having a benchmark is an important factor to playing the Sprint game mode.
Come Prepared

Once you have your time to beat, you’ll want to prepare yourself for your few sets of games. What things did you do in your practice round that you could improve upon? What kind of strategies do you think will work best for you individually?
Remember, not everyone is a master at T-Spin moves and Tetris Line Clears. Try to tackle Sprint in a way that makes sense to you. Additionally, Sprint mode in Tetris Friends is a great way to practice and get better, so don’t feel stressed if your time isn’t where you want it to be.
The more you practice at it, the better you get. On that note, write down on a notepad the things you’ve tried out and how those things impacted your time. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can use Sprint as a place to test out T-Spins and Tetris Line Clears. Who knows? You might be better at them than you think!
Have Fun

Last, but certainly not least, make sure you’re having fun while playing Sprint. If you begin to feel stressed or fatigued, get up and take a quick break. Grab a glass of water, change into something more comfortable if you’re at home, then hop back on and try again.
When you’re having fun, your mind will focus on the Tetriminos rather than the timer. Furthermore, when you finish a match and realize that you absolutely crushed your previous score, it’s even sweeter. After all, you snagged that impressive score while kicking back and enjoying yourself!
