Ever had a moment in life where you had no idea how to handle things? A problem pops up, and you're at a loss for how to deal with it. Again, don't feel terrible! Everyone has these moments, and you can end up feeling a bit lost. All you need to do is look at your average game of Tetris for a bit of inspiration.
How many times have you been playing Tetris where the Matrix is filling up and you've got no idea what to do next? You keep dropping in Tetriminos wherever they'll fit, and the sweat starts rolling down your forehead as you see the Game Over coming. Then, out of nowhere, the Tetrimino you need for salvation drops in. It's the one piece you needed to set things straight, and you're given a fresh start.
The same goes for real life. Just because you can't see the solution now doesn't mean one isn't coming your way. All you have to do is keep your eyes open and contemplate all paths ahead. Sometimes when you're searching for the right answer, a perfect fit will come along and set things straight.
Patience is a Virtue

Being patient isn't an easy thing to do. Finding the ability to hold back when you're feeling antsy can seem like it's impossible. Patience comes into play in all sorts of situations, from excitement about a concert, to trying to teach your parents how to use their mobile phones. If you need a little help in the patience department, perhaps Tetris can help.
When you're playing Tetris and the speeds are as low as they can go, you can sometimes find it unbearable. You start Hard Dropping Tetriminos at top-speed, desperate to slot them in and get things moving. Then before you know it, you've hit a higher level and the Tetriminos are dropping in too quickly. If only you took the time early on to let the Tetrimino cascade settle in at its own pace.
Take the early stages to learn a little patience; you'll be happy you did when things start getting fast and furious. It's easy to see how you can parlay your Tetris patience into real life. Sometimes you need to sit back and let things go at their own pace. Trying to speed them up might not work out, and getting angry about it isn't going to help a thing. Dial it back a notch, let things play out on their own, and be happy you didn't turn a slow-going situation into a high-speed disaster!
Never Give Up

There's no more obvious connection between real life and Tetris than the idea of never giving up. Tetris is out to challenge you. The more you play, the tougher things get. You'll get into situations where it seems like there's no way out. The urge to throw in the towel can hit you hard. This is when you have to cast aside the notions of giving up in order to push on. The same applies to real life.
No matter how bad things seem, no matter how much of a struggle you're facing, giving up isn't an option. Make sure to give everything you've got to accomplish the task ahead. More often than not, be it real-life or Tetris, you'll end up finding a way to come out the victor. What happens if you don't win? There's an important lesson to be learned there as well. You gave it your all and you never pulled back.
You've suffered a loss, but it's not the end of the world. Get back into the saddle and give things another shot! You can take inspiration from anyone, anything, and anywhere in life. Tetris can certainly provide some inspiration when you're in need. What's the greatest inspiration you can have when dealing with a tough moment in life? Imagine yourself at home playing some Tetris, and we bet you'll find the motivation to push through!
